Shipping, Delivery/Installation

All online order totals of $99 or more ship for free, even furniture*. Most items arrive next-business-day from the nearest warehouse to your office if ordered online before 2:00 PM in your time zone. Severe weather, remote delivery locations, and/or other circumstances may prohibit next-business-day delivery.

* To qualify for free shipping orders must be placed and completed online.

Shipping is free for all orders totaling over $99, including furniture. Orders under $99 are charged a reasonable $7.95 shipping and handling fee. Orders placed before 5:00 PM your time zone(USA time zones only) normally ship the same day (Monday-Friday). We ship from a network of 35 huge stocked distribution warehouses across the United States.  Products such as desks, file cabinets, etc. that are too large to ship by UPS/FedEx will ship to you via a local trucking company. Truck deliveries typically require 1- 3 additional days for delivery. Items that ship direct from the manufacturer may also require extra time for delivery. Truck Deliveries to Business & Residential Addresses

Truck deliveries do not include inside delivery. Truck shipments are tailgate/dock delivery. The driver will bring the item(s) to the rear of the truck but will not assist you in bringing the item(s) inside. Inside delivery and/or setup is available in some metropolitan areas for an additional charge. Contact us at 408-416-3602 for a quote. Be sure to include the item numbers of the items you are inquiring about in your email. Truck deliveries cannot be scheduled, however we can request that the trucking company call before attempting delivery. A signature is required for all truck deliveries; someone must be available during business hours to sign for a truck delivery. Note any visible damage on the bill of landing/delivery ticket before signing for the shipment. Any claims for damaged or missing items must be made within 48 hrs after product has arrived. Please note that sometimes product orders may be split and come from more than one warehouse. This is to ensure your order does not go on backorder status and you receive the products you have purchased quickly.

All products come ready to assemble unless already assembled by the manufacture. Because the products are unassembled we are able to pass the savings onto you. Also we require our vendors to stock all items. We will not use vendors that do not have most items in stock at all times. Our customers have come to expect quick deliveries. Sure there are times that something will go on back order, but it is rare. 99% of our furniture and office supplies/products ship within  in 1-3 days. Why wait 1 to 4 weeks for your order?

  • Products are available to physical locations in the Continental United States only! Sorry we do not ship orders  to Alaska, Hawaii or internationally. Shipping addresses must be a physical location. We cannot ship to P.O. Boxes. Customers must be able to receive items between 9am - 5pm (your time zone) at the shipping address specified. Also Heritage Office Furniture cannot accept orders shipping to freight forwarding companies.    
  • Heritage Office Furniture will use reasonable commercial effort to ship ordered products on the same business day the order is placed, if the order is received before 2:00 PM your time zone, or on the next business day, if the order is received after 2:00 PM  your time zone. 
  • Please note: Most carriers, including UPS require one day processing your order, so please allow adequate time for this in your delivery computation.
  • All orders are subject to product availability. If there is any problem with shipping your product in the stated time, we will attempt to notify you and let you know when you can expect your shipment. You must provide a valid email address on your order for us to contact you about shipping delays or backorder status.
  • If your order is placed on backorder, we will still send it via the shipping method you originally specified, unless you notify us otherwise. You can also call us at: 408-416-3602 Monday through Friday 9 AM to 5 PM PST to inquire about your orders' status, or login to your account and review your order(s) status online.
  • Normal delivery is by 'Ground' via UPS or FedEx  to you "the customer" in  1 to 3 business days. Orders that weigh over 145 lbs. may be shipped by freight truck from the closest warehouse facility to your ship to address.
  • Normal delivery is to curbside or your loading dock.

Delivery and Installation

Local Delivery and Installation

Truck deliveries do not include inside delivery. Truck shipments are tailgate/dock delivery (the driver will bring the item(s) to the rear of the truck but will not assist you in bringing the item(s) inside). Inside delivery, installation and/or setup is available to all local customers within 60 miles of San Jose, CA  for an additional charge. During checkout please click “Delivery & Install within 60 Miles of San Jose, CA ". The price for full delivery and installation will be noted on the right. Please note that the installation price is valid only if the order has been placed online. 

Full delivery and installation service includes delivery of the product to your designated location, removal of packaging materials, assembly of product and setting the product in place. This service also includes disposal of all cartons and packaging material. (Sorry for any inconvenience but we will not remove or dispose of old furniture/items, this is the responsibility of the customer.)

All installations are done by licensed and insured professional furniture installers. Once the order has been placed online we will schedule the installation date with you. All installations are done in approx 10 business days after order has been placed. All installations are done Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm.
